Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Our mission as a church is to advance the Kingdom of God on earth. We do that by preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, but also by following the ways of Christ in providing physical help wherever we can. Many volunteers are needed for a variety of areas of mission.

Local Community  Missions

We think it is important to look beyond the walls of our church to the needs in our community. Here are some local missions that we engage in:

GriefShare

If you have lost a loved one, we provide weekly support meetings from September through December each year. These meetings are open to anyone struggling with grief. We use the Griefshare program for this, which is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help.

Matthew 25:35

We feed the hungry and less fortunate in our area every Christmas with one hundred boxes of basic grocery necessities.

Aylmer Community Meals

Our church along with other churches in the Aylmer area partner up with The Family Central in order to provide meals to whoever needs them in our community every Sunday evening.

Active Missions Abroad

We are actively involved in missions operations in Haiti and Uganda. Our link to Haiti is HandUp International, managed by Abe and Tina Harder and also Justice Flowing, managed by Aggie Klassen from our congregation. A team is assembled every year from members of various congregations that travels to Haiti to provide hands-on and financial assistance to the church there.
