Adult Bible Study

The Adult Bible Study meets at 10:00 am each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall to gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God through group study and discussion in small groups.
Various prepared lessons are selected to increase our knowledge of a particular book in the Bible or about a certain topic.  The lessons usually include a short video presentation followed by small-group discussion led by a table facilitator.
Everyone is welcome to attend the Bible Study, from those in our youth to adults of all ages.  Everyone is encouraged to provide input but we also appreciate people attending to listen as we learn from hearing the views, opinions, and experiences of others.

Recent Studies

This study, a series by Francis Chan, highlighted the teachings of Jesus through the Book of Mark in his ministry with his disciples around the Sea of Galilee.
A study by Dr. Eric Mason. Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem by giving direction to the people. Through this story, we learned about what needs to change in our lives before we can truly live the way God intends.
Most recently, we finished the series entitled: Law and Grace, by Samir Deokuliar. It linked New Testament grace to the Mosaic Law given in the Old Testament.
An introduction to the weekly lesson is provided by Greg Graham. His hope is that everyone would be richly blessed through digging deeper into the Word of God and researching topics linked to each lesson.
The church AV crew sets up the videos and sound, the kitchen workers provide the morning snacks and coffee for everyone, and table leaders direct group discussion so that all those who attend weekly to share ideas, learn and grow in Christ.
